Yuv Ayush Health Support

The Yuv Ayush Program stands beside young people living with Type 1 diabetes—a condition that demands lifelong insulin and daily strength. For many families, the cost of insulin is overwhelming, especially when their children need multiple injections every single day.

Since 2022, MITRAz Foundation has been supporting young diabetics aged 15 to 25 from low-income families around Puttaparthi, ensuring they never miss their essential insulin. Today, we care for 12+ young adults, most of whom are students working hard to continue their education and shape a better future for themselves.

Our support goes beyond medication. We walk with them, helping them understand their condition, build healthier routines, and stay confident as they grow into independent, self-reliant individuals. And as each young person steps forward in life, we extend our hand to the next child who needs care, ensuring the circle of support continues.

Children’s Day at Chinnapalli High School

Children’s Day at Chinnapalli High School was filled with laughter, games, and performances, celebrating the spirit of every child. Amidst the joy, we took a moment to honor Namaji—a guiding light in MITRAz’s journey, dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Namaji wasn’t just a supporter; he was one of the cornerstones of MITRAz. He shaped our name, defined our vision, and gently wove Seva and Swami’s values into our foundation. His quiet wisdom, thoughtful guidance, and unwavering strength gave us clarity when we needed it most.
A silent pillar and true Mitr, Namaji was our own version of a flawless ChatGPT—ever-ready, ever-wise, and always giving. His legacy lives on in every life we touch, and his spirit remains deeply woven into the fabric of MITRAz.
We carry forward your vision, Namaji, with the same dedication and heart you believed in. You are missed every day—and remembered with gratitude, love, and a promise to serve.

SnehaMitr Inauguration

We launched SnehaMitr to deliver dignified eldercare through our General Duty Assistants (GDA) professionals trained under our programs.

This initiative serves a dual purpose. It ensures that seniors receive compassionate care and support, while also creating meaningful employment opportunities for rural youth, especially women.

Many rural women now earn with pride, as professional care givers, offering not just assistance, but also companionship support to elders. SnehMitr is therefore both a tribute to caregiving and a pathway to empowerment – bringing care into every home and confidence in lives.

Dussehra & Diwali Celebrations

Our festivals this year were marked by creativity, color and a strong commitment to sustainability.  Students decorated the center using “Wealth Out of Waste” materials —cups, tyres, fabric, bulbs—ensuring that nothing went unused.

The celebrations became more than  cultural expression; they were also a reminder of how traditions can coexist with responsibility, nourishing both spirit and the planet.

BFSI Student Placement Drives

Star Health Insurance and Atyati Technologies visited MITRAz for recruitment. 25+ BFSI students demonstrated skill, sincerity, and professionalism.

Employers were impressed with the preparedness of our trainees, strengthening our industry linkages. These drives proved rural youth are job-ready when given the right tools.

Parents & Principals Meet – First Step Program

MITRAz held its first-ever Parents and Principals Meet under the First Step Program. For parents, it was a proud moment as they received a letter of appreciation for their children joining MITRAz. In rural communities, where parents often aren’t aware of what their children are learning, this recognition was deeply meaningful—one mother shared, “This is the first time anyone told me my child is doing something valuable.”

At the same time, Principals came together to discuss how we can mould students not only in academics but also in life skills, values, and holistic learning. The meet created a circle of support—parents more involved, principals aligned, and students at the heart of it all.

The day reaffirmed our belief that true education is built on partnerships between home, school, and society—shaping confident, capable, and compassionate youth.

Clean Parthi, Green Parthi

MITRAz launched Puttaparthi’s first-ever “Clean Parthi, Green Parthi” marathon, a unique blend of fitness and sustainability. The entire event from planning the route map, banners to arranging stalls with lemon juice, bananas, and water was managed by our students and staff.

Every participant received breakfast and a small indoor plant as a green pledge, while winners proudly took home medals and trophies.

This marathon is just the beginning. As a next step, MITRAz is partnering with the Puttaparthi Municipality to promote waste segregation and sustainable practices across the town—moving closer to a cleaner, greener Puttaparthi.

FSGS Summer Study Camp – Learning Beyond Classrooms

MITRAZ launched the first ever Summer Study Camp in Puttaparthi, making the scorching Rayalaseema summer a season of learning. For a whole month, over 65+ rural school children came to the center every day without fail—excited to improve their Spoken English and Analytical Math.

The sessions were fun, interactive, and very different from regular school lessons. “I never thought English could be so easy,” shared one student. Another added, “Math felt like a puzzle to solve, not just numbers to memorize.”

The camp gave students more than skills—it built confidence, curiosity, and the joy of learning. By the end, they walked away sharper, happier, and ready for the next step in their journey.

A Performance to Remember

We were delighted to welcome Ms. Mrinalini Singh from Tata Trusts. Her visit was memorable, bringing warmth and encouragement to our students, trainers, and staff.

The highlight of Ms. Singh’s visit was a mime skit by our GDA (Geriatric Domestic Assistant) trainees on “Different Ways to Handle Elders.” Without using words, the girls beautifully conveyed care, respect, patience, and understanding through their expressions and gestures.

Ms. Singh was deeply touched by the performance. She shared how special it was to see young rural trainees learning not just technical skills, but also the human values needed to care for elders with dignity and compassion.

Free Auto Service for COVID-19 Patients

During the COVID-19 crisis, MITRAZ set up a free auto-rickshaw service to transport COVID-positive patients within Puttaparthi.

A dedicated driver, equipped with PPE and sanitizers, ensured safe travel for patients while reducing risks of community spread through public transport. The initiative was well-received by local residents.

Internship Program for Final-Year Students

MITRAZ launched a five-month internship for 38 final-year B.Com students, supported by the ArthNivesh team from TAPMI, Manipal. Most of these government college students had little exposure to practical learning.

The program covered English, communication, Tally, digital literacy, and financial planning. In the final phase, students worked on projects that combined domain knowledge with community welfare.

One-day Conclave at Puttaparthi

MITRAz Foundation hosted Puttaparthi’s first conclave on youth skilling, bringing together leaders from industry, academia, and skill ambassadors.

Over 200 participants, including parents and students, joined to explore ways of making youth more employable. Prof. Mrutyunjay Mahapatra, CEO of Syndicate Bank, delivered an inspiring keynote, followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion.

We also acknowledged our dedicated faculty and staff for shaping student success. The day ended with vibrant cultural performances by our IT and GDA students, adding joy to an inspiring event.

First Steps: Government School Project

This program now reaches multiple government schools around Puttaparthi, engaging Class 9 and 10 students with enthusiasm.

Focused on the school-to-work transition, we build skills in spoken English, communication, and critical thinking. In 2024–25, we plan to add skilling modules for them. We have also introduced online training for Class 11 students in English, GK, analytics, and reasoning laying a strong foundation for their future success.

These interactions complemented technical training and boosted student confidence for real-world employment.

Career Guidance Session for Class 10 Students

Led by Mr. Siva Kaladhar Kolachina, a renowned soft skills trainer and career counsellor, this session opened doors for students from government and rural schools, supported at Mitraz.

For  many students and their parents, it was the first time they discovered new, promising career paths beyond traditional streams. The session not only broadened their horizon but also gace the families confidence to shape new  aspirations for their children.

By bringing expert guidance directly at the doorstep, MITRAz removed the barriers of cost and access, making career counselling where it is needed the most

Eighteen students earned their certificates, marking a journey of dedication, transformation, and self-belief. A celebratory outing followed, turning achievement into shared joy, as they now step into careers with pride and purpose.

Celebrating five years of MITRAZ
