Zoho Corporation Visit (20th August ‘22)

We are extremely fortunate to have the financial backing of Zoho Corporation this year. On 20th August 2022, we welcomed Mr Anand Nergunam, Sr Vice President – Revenue Management & Growth, Zoho Corporation, to our centre for the event ‘Celebrating Excellence’. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp and planting of a sapling. Mr Anand was kind enough to distribute certificates to the students of the 6th and 7th batches of GDA and 7th and 8th batches of BFSA.
In an highly motivating and inspiring speech, Mr Anand proceeded to address the MITRAz alumni and current students. He recounted how the team at Zoho Corporation sanctioned the grant, impressed by just two words in our proposal – Rural Empowerment! He emphasized the importance of commitment, whether in work or while learning, and how the right attitude, hard work and persistence are all vital to succeed. It was, indeed, a very enjoyable and enlightening session for the students and staff and we look forward to more such interesting interactions with the team at Zoho.

He knew the life he wanted, but didn’t know where to start.
He was undeterred by failure, but language was a barrier.
His thinking was defined, but his presentation was not refined.
